There are approx. 105 males for every 100 female newborns. Naturally, that ratio equals to around 50/50 by sexual maturity, since boys are more likely to catch diseases (men have weaker immune systems) and do stupid shit.

However, in recent times, due to the advancement of technology, the rate of child mortality is lower than ever before (which is a good thing) and male preference in some cultures (both South and East Asian) the percentage of men has been on the rise this past two centuries.

Combined with female hypergamy, entitlement, and "girl boss" attitude, dating has become considerably harder for men. In the past, men would entice women with their wallets, because the wage gap was real in those times. However, since now that women can enter the workforce just as easily (if not more!) than men, the bar for "betabuxxing" is considerably higher.

It's no secret that the number of sexless men (incels) has been on the rise, this problem cannot be solved by even the most radical ideologies, because simply put, there are not enough women. (If you exclude the old hags ofc, women live longer)

The main reason behind male-only conscription is the disposability of the male sex. One man can easily mate with a harem of women, but the opposite cannot be true. Sperm is cheap as dirt, eggs are more precious than the finest of golds. I feel that with this sex ratio, this effect is only amplified.

What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I believe genetic engineering is the answer.
