Just stop doing it. Being verbose is the opposite of "well articulated sentences, good explanations, etc.". Learn effective communication - it's a life skill.

Being articulate isn't a problem, it's a strength.

Your problem is you care too much. You care so much about explaining everything perfectly that you are missing the fact that these women don't give a fuck about your detailed well thought out explanations.

Nothing wrong with using your intelligence to educate a woman, but make sure she's earned it by investing as much into the interaction as you have.

This often manifests in bad texting ratios

If this is happening you can be guaranteed she is reacting to these high effort responses of yours with contempt. I understand the pleasure that comes from using your verbal skills, but have the discipline not to waste them on the unappreciative.

In actual talking, it can be a big plus if it matches your general demeanor/style.

In texting, it makes you look like a douchebag who's trying to impress people.

If you're really effective at communicating, you should be able to convey your messages one or two sentences at a time.

This might not apply to deeper topics of debate, but if you're doing that through text then you fucked up a long time ago.

So to answer your question, yes, it's "unsexy."
