This may or may not be an unpopular opinion, but I think that TV has an unfair portrayal of men.

Since I was young, I have watched serials and as a teen, sitcoms such as friends, modern family etc. However, I have almost always seen these TV shows portray men as these lusty creatures whose only purpose in life is having sex.
There was this one scene in modern family when two boys were dating girls who they didn't like. One of them was called dumb and started speaking out against the objectification of himself. The girl in return, said that they'll make out with them at their house.

This brings some issues I don't like:

1: If it was the opposite gender. all the people would protest over how women are being silenced after their objectification, but it's seen as funny how, by speaking up, men are ignored

2: Sexual bribery? I don't know how it would be described, but this scenario is kind of like that. And this point is linked to my final one:

3: Lust. Obviously men don't care about what happens in the real world, we get to make out and all is fun and well. And this is 100% not the case.

Men do not lust for women, and we don't only want sex. We are humans and TV's unfair represantation of us is just being ignored.
