Just no. Don't rely on drugs in social situations. It's a bad road to start down. Do it yourself or don't do it at all.

From the little description it sounds like its for wellbeing and an opiate-ish kinda high.

IMO not a great thing to take a drug to feel.

I can vouch for maca, horny goat weed, and tongkat ali though for making me feel hornier and get more random boners during the day. Which for me is pretty fun.

Anxiety and inhibitions are reduced by modulation of GABA receptors.

GABA-A modulation is less potent and less prone to regulation (addiction).
GABA-B modulation is very potent and very prone to regulation.

Regardless of initial reactions, anxiolytics must act on the GABA receptors to achieve their effect, the homeostasis of which causes tolerance & addiction. Benzos, alcohol, GHB and cocaine all act on the GABA receptor groups. As such, their anxiolytic properties come with the same downsides. If you're anxious or inhibited, these are optimal:

Ashwaghanda, Theanine & Picamilon (vasodilator) are mild (GABA-A) anxiolytics usable up to 4x per week.
Phenibut is a powerful (GABA-B) anxiolytic safely usable up to 2x a week to a maximum of 6x per month.

The aforementioned are optimal because they achieve the same effect as GHB, Cocaine or Alcohol with milder negative side effects and have Nootropic cognitive benefits. Remember, any anxiolytic means tolerance / addiction - there is no way around this since under the hood they all work the same. Use sparingly.

I didn't seem to get much out of it other than a strange afterglow.

As far as RP potentiating drugs go, I would suggest (with extreme caution) phenibut, etizolam, pyrazolam, and modafinil/adrafinil
