Red Pill, I failed but I'm slowly learning.

I was slipping into friendzone-ville with a girl I was interested in. As soon as she told me she wasn't interested over text I responded with "k" and began to move on with my life.

She messaged me again twice asking if we were ok and saying we can talk more over phone if I would call her that week. I ignored that message as well, and proceeded to move on with my life for the week. A week later she messaged me again asking if we were ok, and if I was ok.

This was where I fucked up.

I said "Yea, we're great." She said that didn't sound very convincing and I proceeded to ignore that message as well. She sent me another long message stating that she would be in town next weekend and we should chat about it then. I responded with "You're welcome to come over, but it is my birthday weekend so things will be hectic" and then I said some other beta things about us being fine. She wished me a happy birthday and said we would hang out another time.

I fucked up again here by being upset and responded with "Take it or leave it. I'm offering you this weekend, there won't be another. I don't have much to say, but if you do than that will be the time to say it."

Her response? "I've said everything I need to say, this is entirely for you." I haven't responded to that, and I don't think I will.

My analysis is that I fucked up, I should not have ever responded to her and I should have worked on building up my own SMV for our next encounter. Is never speaking to her again the correct way to proceed from here? I'm thinking so.

I don't know if there's any way to casually respond from this and recover (so that the door is open in case I happen to get an increase in SMV so she can come running back to potential plate status). I'm at a loss gentlemen, ignoring and proceeding with my life seems like the best option, though I don't want this to be a harsh close in case it may benefit me in the future.

Thoughts and opinions would help me out greatly.

TL;DR: Girl tried to friendzone me, cut off contact, re-initiated contact with her after several unresponded messages from her. Gave her ultimatum to speak (which I shouldn't have done). She called it. Thinking of just proceeding with my life, upset at myself for not just walking away.
