well, ask yourself why you want to "savage her" for being honest with you?

Out of the blue you walk up and hit on her, she let's you know she's not interested in your dick being inside her, and you think now you have to "get even" and make a "snarky comeback."

This is what is generally known as being a douche bag.

Kudo's for approaching her, minus points for the dis-ingenious "pickup line" but, regardless just suck it up and move on. Preferably politely.

When you have not offered anything to someone, and you ask for something from them, ask yourself "why should they give me what I want?"

That's a pickup line. We don't use pickup lines. Pickup lines don't work.

The reason this doesn't work is that the woman can say "no" and your opener is completely dead in its tracks. A good opener can proceed regardless of how the woman responds.

The girls you're describing aren't interested. You don't salvage that.

You might ask a follow-up just to confirm they're saying that because they're disinterested, like asking what they do instead of read, or whatever. Honestly, the exact follow-up doesn't matter, anymore than the exact words in your opener do.

Getting the last word in or making a snarky comeback, is only necessary if you aren't taking care of yourself and have a fragile ego.

I disagree that this is a 'pickup line'. Its an opener that starts a converstation, and if you are familer enough with it, you know where you can take the converstation. For example if the girls say 'no', they say 'why dont you read many books?- maybe they dont have time because of their busy jobs, maybe they were brought up in the slums of Nicaragua and can't read, you never know. If you wanted to hit them with a bit of a 'bantery' reply, just to keep the convo flowing say 'really, are you illiterate?' and keep it going from there. Its good to have openers that you know you can control and work for meeting new people, as long as you know how to create conversation from these openers.

You basically want to change her mind... mhmm... i wonder why you want that? In my experience it's a waste of time to do that. You will have to put in such a big amount of energy for a girl that doesn't like you, that even if it succeeds, you could have spent the time and energy in other girls who are resonating with you. And about "having the last word", is your ego in need of that? By the definition of that sentence its purpose is nothing but stroking ones ego in saying "i dominated this person!" without doing anything else of value.
