Interact with the two of them because usually you have to earn the cockblocking friend's trust (at least enough for her to not look for you guys or pull the girl you're gaming away from you). After a few minutes say "I'm going to borrow your friend for a sec," and pull her either towards the dance floor or towards an isolation spot.

A PUA book I once read says that you should go for the uglier girl in front of both, so the more beautiful one (and they always know that) gets jealous and does all the hard work for you.

Use the relationship you're building with the friend to inspire the one you like to do the isolation for you

Be very friendly with both, show a clear interest in the one you want more (if either) and see if her friend will give you both time alone. If a girl likes you and her friend isn't a bitch she'll give time to be together. Reasoning: if she doesn't she's cock-blocking her friend and those girls are going to have a bitch-fight like WWE at some point.

Also if both girls end up really liking how you are, maybe let you get an arm around each girl's waist, you could find yourself in a situation where you don't want to isolate them.

Normally you cannot break up a two-set.

If you try to isolate the target, she's leaving her friend alone, which chicks will almost never do.

Your best bet is to merge sets, and THEN isolate.
