I like dating professional women because frankly I have a business suit fetish. It helps that you too make a decent amount of money. Women have this strange thing....they really don't like a man who makes less money than they do. It somehow makes them uncomfortable for some reason.

I have a pretty good amount of experience here. A couple of relevant things:

Social status matters. Don't kid yourself that it doesn't. If you're an unambitious slob, you generally won't be getting a lot of dates with attractive, professional women. However, don't assume that it tracks too exactly--it's not entirely about money or where you went to college. The key here is not to fit too easily into what they perceive as a low-status box. If you're a restaurant cook making 30k a year and living in a shithole efficiency in the suburbs, you're less likely to date professional women than a jazz musician who makes a similar income but lives in a tiny bedroom in a cool old apartment with roommates in the city. The cook and the musician are both poor, but one has ambition and sex appeal, and one seems lazy and apathetic.
The second, and related issue, is that people in those kinds of jobs have crazy schedules and stressful work environments. This means that they are often very appreciative of guys who, while having their shit together, have lower-stress lifestyles. The jazz musician may not make enough money to take her out to the fanciest restaurants, but he has the time and the emotional stability to give her a long back massage and talk about her day. This isn't strictly about 'services performed,' like you might think, either. Modern, professional people of either gender feel a pressure to 'have it all,' and this includes a feeling of 'being chill' that they often aren't able to achieve as much as they like. It's a pretty basic psychological fact that we tend to appreciate in others what we feel lacking in ourselves; ergo, chill and confident guy seems that much more so to girl who feels like she never has time to chill out and think about life in a deep way.

Dating a lawyer sucked. Arguing with her was like fighting a professional cage fighter.

That said, other professional women are fantastic.

In the past 2 months I've had sex with a CPA, a dental student, a girl that plans on going to law school. I'm also talking with a girl that is entering her final semester of grad school to become a Physician's assistant. My ex was a pre-med student. I went on a couple dates with a Pharmacist in October.

I tend to have good luck with highly educated, professional women. I am a CPA, which probably helps because I think they prefer professionals as well.

But ultimately they are just like any other woman. Perhaps less tolerance for bull shit and a bit more confident though.

I might be having a 3rd year dental student over to my place tonight. She texted me back with "Hey Smooth21! I just got home from after a long day at clinic and I'm a bit beat from my first week back at school. I'm going to nap for a couple hours but let's play it by ear?"

So I might be able to hook up with another dental student tonight. We went on a date last week, and she paid for the coffee, which I wasn't expecting. I kissed her several times, but didn't ask her back to my place because I had another date later with the PA student that I'm talking to. I did get the PA student back to my place. I've also been to her place, but she hasn't had sex with me yet.
