Might get downvoted but I’m not a big fan of RSD. There’s a lot of rumors that it’s all fake but besides that it seems to vague for me. They preach how your inner game(self esteem) will get you laid but that doesn’t really help new guys who feel like losers. That’s just my opinion tho, the last RSD video I saw about an hour long. It was Tyler lecturing how you should lead with your dick, which is pretty vague and seems like a bad idea. Just my opinion tho.

As a guy who's been into pickup for a while taken my lumps and bruises in the game (they were painful for years) but strived to improve relentlessly, I can tell you without a doubt RSD's psuedo approach to gaming women is the extremely long and difficult path to getting good with women. I'd have saved years off my journey had I understood some kind of technical manual that could actually tell me what the fuck I was doing out there. I spent a ton of time watching Julien's pimp and ten game, Max products and got consistent lays with 6's and 7's (mainly off my looks) but nowhere near good enough game to get the 8's and 9's like I wanted.

To make a long story short, if you're a newbie or intermediate who's struggling there is most likely a lack of fundamental knowledge or a break down in your game somewhere. I'd advise you strongly to read the mystery method get some technical theory down, understand why it works and then combine that with a confident style of natural game that's congruent to who you are. Thats how Tyler, Jeffy, Alex and all these guys got good and it helped me a shit ton to correct my game. The MM is old and out dated but it really fills in the how's of game and why it works. It's also tried and tested and its designed to work well with the higher calibre women.

Getting good with women is really just understanding the technical basics and then having a good enough working brain where you can problem solve and put shit together. I see a shit ton of RSD guys in my city on bootcamp every week spinning women around acting like clowns and they have no idea what they are doing. Those guys never get the girls accept the instructors.

Just out of curiosity since I'm kinda new here... What's the comon take on pick up around here since RSD is the biggest company in the industry I don't understand how their take is the "different" one. Btw just to clear up I'm not defending RSD although I learned a lot with them, what they're doing now with Todd and all just throw their whole concept under the water.

Many of us have a lot of thoughts re: them.

I have several RSD products. Todd's are by far the best; pay attention to what he is doing at his new company. I certainly am, and am more interested in taking a Todd Immersion than an RSD Bootcamp, personally (that being said, I am interested in both).

Unfortunately, I haven't taken a Bootcamp or seen any of them game extensively enough to judge whether they are legit in person. I have seen Tyler, Todd (erstwhile, etc), and Jeffy out in LA, but the only one I have seen actually game is Jeffy. I saw him in one set with a student once at Bungalow. Looked like it was going well. True to his own advice, he was locked in real close to the girl. I couldn't tell exactly what her reaction was, but she was hot and she stuck around. That was 1/3 times I have seen him at Bungalow; he was more of a hanging back coach the other times (which I guess is its own testament to an RSD Bootcamp, with Jeffy at least, since you wouldn't want to shell out all that dough only for the instructor to be in set the whole time, right? but I digress).

Personally (and I am just at the beginning of my journey, so take that into consideration when figuring out how much weight top give my assessment), the more I go out, the more a lot of their stuff makes sense and clicks. They have a lot of good insights about learning and self-development, and I don't think they could have fabricated all of it for that many years.

I have more thoughts on them, but they're mostly beside the point. Your main question is whether you should try their tactics or techniques. To that I would say the answer is a resounding yes. It doesn't matter if we're all unsure or tentatively skeptical about RSD; experimenting with new behaviors is essential to this endeavor. Unless we get irrefutable proof of their fraudulence, I don't see why you shouldn't go try the stuff out for yourself.
