Why is narcissism a trait found in many fat women?

Narcissism is simply a method of overcompensation. When I see a narcissist, they don't piss me off, I just feel bad for them, that's all. Because narcissism is the person's way (consciously or not) to bring themselves back up to par. They're lacking in an aspect, usually being self esteem. They're needy, need affirmation, and most importantly, want to be needed. This results in a lack of self esteem. Because their goals are unreasonable, they give in to their defense mechanisms: in this case, overcompensation in acts of aloofness, which turns into narcissism. Saying "I don't care" to convey a lie (that you don't care, when in fact you do) turns into a belief: I don't care.

Maybe it's more noticeable as they're fat. A gorgeous woman wouldn't be as notable.

It isn't narcissism as much as she has to talk because noone is going to be inquiring\badgering her about her life\interest\hobbies\likes, etc.

Hot girls are constantly probed by dudes interested in fucking them about her life....not so unattractive women.

It is a defense mechanism.
