"Hey man, I don't know how to take this, but I saw that your girlfriend has a profile on Tinder. Not sure if you know about it, or if someone hacked her photos, but I thought I'd let you know."

If the unlikely circumstance arises where he says "yeah, I know" and is cool with it (as in, they have an open relationship), then, with utmost nonchalance, say "ok cool. Let's spar" or whatever.

Just tell him, tinder is not for friends. Tell him, there is a chance she's got a legit reason, like she got it before they started dating or whatever, but he still has the right to know.

Also don't give him excuses for her to relieve the tension when you tell him, save the hamstering for the hamsters, just tell him and let the drama unfold by itself.

If he's only a BJJ buddy you may risk alienating yourself and altering your practice environment. I'd probably leave it out if he wasn't a good friend of mine off the mat.
