I approach directly and boldness isn't an issue, many approaches were 2+ a couple 3+ all during the day at college. In cases where I was really confident and hyper, I've been rejected with fake numbers, "No I'm good," etc. In cases where I was less energetic/hyped the girl usually feels flattered but awkward. I imagine its because they don't know how to reject someone that is so forward. I've even had 30+ minute conversations with girls because I guess I stupidly thought I could get past the awkwardness they felt. They ended up ghosting (As every number I've gotten has). I didn't think I had an issue reading social cues, although there have definitely been a few girls that I thought were interested when in reality they weren't. I thought that once I got over the nervousness, getting dates wouldn't be an issue, but I couldn't be more wrong. I'm so lost, in interactions where I'm very non-needy I guess I'm more polarizing, just not in the way I'd like (Maybe I'm perceived as dancing monkey). In interactions where I take it down a notch, women just feel awkward. I usually approach with some explanation that I realize what I'm doing is random or w/e and then I explain that I thought they were attractive/cute or I liked their X and I wanted to meet them. I don't get it, and a lot of the time I have moments of neediness but doesn't everyone? Especially at this age? I'm a lot bolder and non-needy than anyone else in my approaches, I don't see that as the issue and I honestly don't know what is at this point. It seems like girls have decided they're uninterested the second I've approached them. I don't think its looks, I'm complimented on style often and I work out (Not big though).

I've been trying to follow the advice of Models, but I'm feeling so much pain. My school isn't that big and I really don't want that number to jump to 100 or 200 in a row.

I also feel awkward seeing them again, it's very difficult for me to still be friendly and outgoing after someone ghosts me/I perceive them to think I'm creepy.
