In order to get girls you need confidence but because I don’t get girls I’m not confident. How do you get this confidence in the first place?

You don't get confidence by getting girls. You get confidence by changing the way you feel about yourself. You don't get confidence, you grow it. And the only way to do that is to grow as a person. If your aim is to get confidence to get girls, then you're looking at it the wrong way. If your self-worth is based on the fact whether or not you're getting girls, then you have a wrong mindset. Keep practicing and keep learning and keep working on yourself. Confidence will come. And so will the girls. But first things first.

I think part of your problem is your mindset. "because I don't get girls, I'm not confident" puts the blame on your circumstances, which has never helped me. Second, confidence in other areas of your life will still help you with women. If you feel good about who you are and what you do, women will be more attracted to you, even if you've never held hands with one before.

Go become proficient in other aspects of your life. Confidence in those successes will spill over into your confidence with women.

Well my confidence actually stems from failure. Being shut down, turned down and dumped over and over. Left for other men was a common one for me for a while. Eventually I just started investing in myself, and my confidence was a side effect of my self value. As I became more invested in myself, I stopped caring what other people thought because... why should I?

A change in external behavior will produce a change in internal behavior.

What this means, in an actionable item is this. When you are about to do something, whatever it is. Ask yourself: "Is this that I am about to do something the person I'm trying to become would do?"

Every answer should bring you closer to becoming who you think you can be.
