I know it's women's nature to cry more than men, but this is bothering me and I'm wondering if there is a TRP way to get her to cry less.

My LTR of 5 months cries every time we part. She lives in a suburb of the city I live in and we both work far apart during the week, so we have agreed to generally only meet on weekends. When Sunday evening comes around I've found I can't enjoy my time with her because all she wants to do is cry and hug (and fuck, but I'm getting older and am not always really feeling it. She's younger and generally has a higher sex drive than I do.). I turn on a movie while she's laying next to me, and all she'll do is lay there and sob. This past weekend I caught her looking at a picture of the two of us on her phone and crying while I was sitting right next to her in bed. I told her, "Geez. It's not like we broke up or something."

Next week I'm leaving on a necessary trip overseas for two weeks. She's been dreading it for months. I keep telling her it's only for two weeks, and I'll be back before she knows it, but she won't stop tearing up and sobbing every time she thinks about it. (She's not afraid I'm going to cheat as far as I can tell. She just gets lonely really easily.) If possible, I'd like to say something to help the crying this weekend before I leave.

This is probably an enviable situation for lots of guys. This isn't a troll post, and I hope this doesn't come off as a bragplain. I've been practicing TRP on her as long as we've been together, and perhaps it has been too effective. Perhaps the crying is unavoidable, and it's something I'll just have to learn to deal with and appreciate for the duration of the LTR. Perhaps it is male nature to be bothered by female tears as that is one of the ways they have evolved to influence us, but in all seriousness, I'd appreciate if anyone knows a TRP way to cut down on the crying.

TL:DR LTR cries when we say goodbye and it bothers me.

EDIT: I should probably explain the nature of the crying is not a loud tantrum. It's more just tears and quiet sobbing. Still, it seems excessive to me since she does it every time she even thinks about having to say goodbye.
