I get most of my eye contact glances at clubs because i'm singing pretty much every song i know and i connect with girls that also know them (just smiling at them while singing the same song) They're often surprised by a guy actually enjoying the music instead of running around trying to grind of someone which i guess inconsciously pull some towards me because they do not see me as a "threat".. Then i can go for a dance and isolate

Try doing something that gets attention like doing a silly dance on the dancefloor or something. You're more likely to get eye contact that way.

Thing is, you need to find stuff you like to do, enjoy yourself there THEN, the social aspect will kick in. You talk to people around you (like we've been doing as humans for thousands of years), you 'll socialise, and people will see you as having a good time, and gravitate around you naturally instead of seeing you as "searching for friends" and retract.
