Her making a scene helps you get the other girl anyway.

If she causes drama like she says, "What the fuck! I thought you really liked me, how could you flirt with this slut?!" Respond by agreeing, defining your terms and giving her an ultimatum.

Say, "Yes I do like you a lot but not right now because you're acting crazy. Now I really would like to keep seeing you but if you're gonna continue to act crazy like this I'm afraid that's not gonna work out. So you can continue to act crazy in which case I don't want to see you ever again or you can chill out and let me do whatever I want to do and we can keep hanging out."

She would only make a scene because she thinks she can get away with it. If you show her that she can't then she'll stay quiet.
