I've had this happen to me as well and can't explain it. I'm assuming the girl is really shy or completely uninterested.

Happened to me 2 days ago. Girl was always cat catching my eye for several weeks, then came to use adjacent machine close to me. I started convo, small talk what she is working on, etc. She was very happy i finally talked to her, she told me about her job, work, Etc.

Saw her next day, said hi, small talk and then said I would like to speak to her later. Guess this part freaked her out.

I don't give a rats ass though, i am there to work out amd will not change my schedule. But i will still smile, say hi, and then go about my business. Only wanted to update my Harem list and keep it fresh.

I will say, not worry about this stuff, keep doing uiu and be outcome independent.
