Symmetry
[–]123lowkick 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not true. It is slightly asymmetrical. The Golden Ratio, if you wanna be mathematical.
Perfect symmetry is weird to observe, fake. We seek out slight imperfections and uniqueness.

Shit

This can be built in a multitude of ways, especially with style. Try something new if you don't have physical Symmetry going for you. The gym also does wonders

Does working out make you more symmetrical?
[–]Kenic_In_MD 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you do it right then yes, Upper body, and lower body. A lot of guys focus on upper body then have little chicken legs. The opposite for girls. Never miss leg day. Eating healthier also helps your skin and face a bit too. I'm not a dietitian so take what I say with a grain of salt, but thats the gist of it.

I have found girls of all shapes and sizes to be attractive. I guess just being proportionate features would be a general thing.
[–]boofuckinghoo88 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
The 'conensus' is an average of all features. We are wired at an evolutionary level to look for that:

You might find some exaggerated features attractive at a personal level but that will be unique to you that could be traced back to early sexually related experiences.

I had a look at the link but I think that the last part rings very true

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We say that for a reason. Worry more about what is inside, and less of what is outside.
[–]GreenWillowTree 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
This is more of just a question of curiosity like maybe there's an average?
[–]123lowkick 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
No. It doesn't work like that. Beauty is subjective. A meta concept that cannot be objective.
This is why we have a billion types of art spanning millennia across all cultures and all people.

Well maybe a majority vote I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad here, but generally there's such a thing as popular music and this does happen with other things so there is more than likely a popular look you know c:
[–]123lowkick 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Dude.
Popular music is "popular" because the music industry spends assloads of money to advertise in your face that it's good, so you buy their shit.
The same applies for the art world. Fancy shit is fancy because some fancy dude says it is so people think it's fancy.
And wine.
I, personally, like scars. In the art world I like renaissance shit, paintings and sculpture. I like graffiti.
Ya dig?
Haha, fair enough

Good cheek bone definition/facial structure, symmetrical mouth, big eyes, long hair.
[–]Indyrect4Lyfe 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Wide jaw, bigger than average chin and nose, hollow cheeks, high cheek bones, big eyes which are more wide than round.
[–]GreenWillowTree -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
As in you like big noses?
[–]The_Flexing_Dude 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Asian, small lips, black hair, petite, bright skin
Isn't that like kpop kind of look?
[–]The_Flexing_Dude 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
kpop girls look too artificial, I prefer japanese cuz they have more of a natural beauty rather than a plastic surgery based one
Ahh I can see what you're saying but personally I think Korean girls are prettier, that's just my kinda idea.
