I know platonic conversation is a big no in pickup game but past few days I have been lacking confidence to approach girls so had to go back to basic just to try to talk to girls. Here is my report:

I went to Marshalls today to get some Christmas gifts for my boss. I wanted to engage in some conversation with women there to see if I can just ask them for an advice on which gifts to buy.

Opened up one cute blonde woman and asked her what should I get for my boss who is in 40s , she said good I am in my 40s too and I would love if someone gave candle to me. So we just chatted about different candles and she chose one for me. I saw ring on her fingers so knew she was married but she was hott. I wanted to start flirting with her but I didnt know what to say so I just said thank you and she walked away.

Opened second tall blonde solid 9. Asked her about which gift wrapped should I get. She wasn’t interested in talking to me first then I maintained some conversation but she didnt seem to like it so I said thanks and walked away.

Once I left Marshalls, I did feel better about myself knowing that I at least tried to talk to girls, even though it wasn’t flirting.
