Guys, I’ve reached the small milestone. I got my first number from a cold approach. If you are following my previous post history, you are aware that I came over my AA but was struggling to continue the conversation after opener. I am still taking baby steps to improve my conversation skills and stacking to make the sets longer.

I was shopping at shoprite and saw this cute girl working there in the aisle. She was facing the shelves. I immediately went up to her and started with my opener and complimented on her big ear-rings. She was 18, recent high-school graduate. We continue the conversation for 2-3 mins and then It looked like she needed to go since she was working at that time. So I tried to close her and told her I would like to invite you for a coffee, let’s exchange number. At this point she said she kindda have a man. So I said I don’t want to be your bf and continue some banter. At the end she did give me her number!

After I left the set, I was amazed that even though she had a bf she gave me her number and we flirted a bit during conversation. This is my first number from cold approaches and finally I’ve reached this step. I know she can flake and this is just a number so I don’t want to get my hopes up. But still this was a small won for me and motivated me to continue the day game and cold approaching.
