I'm curious to hear other people's experiences with roommates vs living alone as it relates to game/ pickup. The reason I ask is that I currently live with a roommate in a house that I own. He's going to be moving out of town in a few weeks and I'm deciding whether to find another roommate or just live there by myself.

Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced more LMR living with roommates than living alone.

I was into game for a couple years before I bought my own house, living alone in an apartment. And while I was living alone, if I brought a girl back to my apartment, it almost always led to sex. Since I've moved in with a roommate, I've experienced significantly more LMR. Out of all the girls I've brought home, I've ended up sleeping with less than half of them. And this in spite of the fact that I'm in better shape and feel more confident in general than ever before.

Of course, this is just my personal experience, so I have no idea if it's at all influenced by my roommate, or if it just's a coincidence. The sample size isn't huge, but it isn't tiny either (about 20 girls in the two years of living alone and about 10 in the year of living with a roommate).

To be clear, there's nothing wrong with my roommate himself. He's a nice guy, doesn't care if I bring girls over (he's in a long-distance relationship), and will usually hang out in his room if I have someone over. But I'm wondering if just knowing that there's another guy in the house who can probably hear loud sex and might see her on her way out can make a girl more inhibited.

Financially, it's nice to have someone to pay me rent and help with the bills, but I don't need to have a roommate. So I'm considering just eating the extra cost in exchange for more freedom.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with more LMR living with roommates than living alone?
