Just reading all this stuff about how basically the most attractive men which are a small number are having the great majority of sex in the US.

And online dating makes it very easy for women to go after above average men. While on the flip side the average to below average dude is likely not having it as easy.

My main question: Is there hope for a short/fit/maybe average looking man? Idk how attractive my features are. Maybe I have below “average” features I really don’t know and based on the numbers I’d say I’m just below average as a whole.

Is the answer to spend my time trying to get myself into or closer to that top 20 percent? How do I do this? Can I ever get there as a short person when height is such a big deal apparently? And this isn’t even mentioning personality which I feel like I have little of. At least not the charismatic/outgoing/confident personality that is likable.

Edit: side question: many of the comments focus on “be attractive” as you would expect, but couldn’t having a great personality and being social help get you closer to the top 20%? I don’t think looks are everything, at least I hope they’re not or I might be fucked.
