I understand cold approaches. I've done them before. But the only times I did do them, it was during the day on campus. Public places with a casual atmosphere is probably the easiest place. But what about formal galas? I have no idea how to do that. What do we talk about) should I avoid certain topic? I can do the opening, that's not a problem. I just don't know anything after that.
