- During lunch hour, I went to the gym. I know, I know, many men say the gym is not the place for game. There is one woman who is often there on her lunch hour also. I've said hello to her once before. I've also caught her looking at me when I wasn't looking. I had a couple of opportunities today to talk to her. I want to break through here. Asked a different girl to work in on the machine she was using. Asked her name, thanked her.
- After work, I went to a tennis class. All girls in my class there were with SOs. After my class, the next class came onto court. One really pretty girl was walking up and I just walked up to her and asked if she was in the intermediate class. I asked if she was any good. She said she was ok. We talked a little but how I can get better so I can get into her class. Asked her name. Unfortunately, the coach called her over b/c class started.
- Went to Target. Two girls were looking at the Tide pods. I asked if they were doing the Tide pod challenge. One of them said no, that they had a coupon. I didn't know what else to say so I bailed.
That last interaction made me realize that I will often bail on an interaction before getting the opportunity to be rejected. Not always, but A LOT. A defense mechanism after the approach. I need some rejections like a dog needs a bone.
I watched a video by Todd V that I found enlightening. Basically, just cut the bullshit and get to the point. Show intent. I want to stop beating around the bush. Make up your own pun about beating and bush here if you like.
