Women don't want to just meet you at your place right off the bat. That's risky as hell. If you're in a major city or even midsize town, meet them at a bar or a normal hangout spot.
If you're on a date-date, do something "Fun and Exciting." Sex is fun and exciting- for you. But not for women. Women have had dick slung at them for about a decade by their peers by the time they're 25. Unless you're bringing something unique about that sex (other than it's 'from you,') they're gonna take a hard pass and roll their eyes, because they can get it from just about anyone.
A person experienced in BDSM might net someone who's in it just for the sex (if it's something they're already interested in), or a risky hook-up, doing it while high, or someone genuinely great looking (think male-model levels) or something about it that 'promises to be different,' and maybe she'll give it a go on that basis. But 'excitement' that gets adrenaline going is honestly the better, smarter way to date. That means generally laying in bed watching Netflix is lame, and I found out that even rock climbing is kinda lame if you're doing it safe and proper- (and safe is the right way to do things there. Don't be a dick and make their insurance premiums any higher, you know?)
Doing things that you're supposed to do is pretty dull for her. If she agrees to the date idea right off the bat, it's in her comfort zone and she's probably bored by doing it unless you find a way to spice it up. My old man told me once "you've got to have ideas that she's saying 'no, that'd be crazy!' to, but still encouraging her to try it because whatever it is, it's really fun!" This was things like riding a motorcycle and doing wheelies (versus "just riding a motorcycle"), riding two-up on a lime scooter, climbing on top of things that are off-limits, sneaking in somewhere. It's the thrill of it. That works for excitement. If you're gonna take her for a loop around the block, at least gun the engine once or twice.
Once her heart's beating, you've got her interest a lot more than if you do the "right thing" and (taking my "lime scooters" date idea here) go about renting her a second scooter and riding alongside her. Screw it, put her on the back and have her wrap her hands around you. It's taboo. It's breaking the rules. And she loves it.
See, breaking the rules generally gets women going for reasons I can't even begin to fathom, but can only shrug and play along with. I find that this is why "bad boys" do so well. They don't give a fuck about the rules. While we're at it, learn how to shut up, too. That's good advice. Let her wonder about things. If this works, you've got the rest of your lives together, she'll piece together who you are, there is absolutely no good reason to front-load her with every detail of your life. It's like bringing out the baby pics on the first date- who even does that? Just focus on what you're doing together. Share a bit of yourself, but keep it reasonable and whatever you do, don't over-share.
If you don't want to answer a question, learn to dodge it. Politicians are great at this, but there are other ways as well, by making a game of it and then getting tied into talking about the rules of the game without having ever broached the question that the game was set up to address. ("I go first. Why? Because it's my game, and I say drink." Then comment on the beer. Question dodged, unless she asks again- then "you're persistent-" and then talk about her persistence, or comment on if you like it/don't, or comment about herself or her job.) The questions I typically dodge are "what do you do?" or "do you have a car?" "How old are you?" all kinds of things that are searching for some thing that will only disqualify you, but can never impress her. (Do you really think she's gonna be impressed that you're 25? So are a lot of people, that doesn't make you into anyone special. Even if there's no age gap, just dodge the question if you think it's searching for a reason to disqualify you from her interest.) If you have something to impress her with (nice house, nice car), remember the writing rule of "show, don't tell." Take her back to your place in it.
Adding a layer of mystery-man gets you further than being honest and open. (Which, personally, I think is crazy that it works. I'm a big free speech advocate. Learning to be secretive and misleading was hard for me.) Women do this weird thing where we'd assume they'd just take the hint as a "obviously I don't want to talk about this, so you should disqualify me-" but instead they seem to like it even more and/or completely forget they even asked the question. I think they're more happy that you handled it smoothly without caving in, and didn't play her game on her terms. How often do you hear from women "I want a man who won't deal with my shit"? All the fucking time, and this is what they mean by it. Don't play her game (the date) on her terms.
That's all I've pieced together so far.
