My story: when I finally dropped the need to be alpha I ironically probably got the closest to what might be considered as much. The problem with trying to be it is it's too much try and not enough being it. Humans are too complicated to fall under a rigid set of rules like this anyway. Most guys on here base all their insecurities around whether or not they are instead of letting go of the need to be that way. You throw away your individuality when you attempt to become an idealized thing. You'll never discover yourself thinking you're not something but trying to become it. Throw all the rules out and you'll find out how easy it is to get laid for yourself. It's kind of like the quest for the holy grail, you'll never quite get there and it will always be a source of pain for you. Stop chasing who you aren't and stop and discover who you really are.
