If she's dancing in front of you, get behind her and start dancing. She'll probably stop and look at you for a second, then go back to dancing with you.

She knows she started dancing in front of you. But, I feel like rejection can happen more with this approach.

If she's to the side, either approach her from the front and start dancing. Or, grab her hand confidently and pull her slowly towards you.

That works better for me than just jumping behind her.

why do you even want to talk? she starts grinding on you, so you start to dance with her. normally you guys come closer without talking. there will be one point where you can make out. one thing leads to another.

if you take a break, go to another place with her where it's quiet it could lead to losing that proximity which you have to build up again.
