If I could send my past self a message, I'd send this: Start practicing a combat sport, it will help you feel more confident, and you'll lose weight as a bonus. And just go chat that girl up - her reaction doesn't matter, what matters is that you did it and didn't avoid it. It gets easier with time.

Don't do routines. Work on raising your energy so that you radiate positivity and confidence to the people around you. Get used to touching people when you talk to them (guys, girls, anyone) in a confident and not creepy way. Learn to hold strong eye contact. Smile, joke, be playful. Don't take game too seriously. Have fun. But also have other hobbies and interests and a strong purpose outside of picking up women.

Sometimes girls won’t immediately seem comfortable or excited to talk to you, but don’t jump ship after 2 minutes. Also don’t take offense to the fact that they aren’t, it could be that they’re shy or anxious, not that you did something wrong.

Casual sex is overrated.

Makes me much less neddy and desperate. If I don't have a good personal connection, I won't enjoy any physical affection either. So I can just ease into the flow when it happens, and not fuss if it doesn't.
