Models - accept no substitute.

Honorable mentions include Way of the Superior Man, Art of Seduction, and maybe one of Mystery's books.

One of these days I'll make a reading list, but Models is far and away the single best book on dating I've ever read.

The fellas in this thread have highlighted solid reads, so let me take the route of podcasts. Podcasts are an unbelievable medium for knowledge acquisition in just about any topic. USE IT!!! The two best podcasts I found are:

1) The Mating Grounds - Tucker Max (This podcast stopped airing episodes but please go back to episode 1 and listen from there)

2) The Chick Whisperer (later changed to The Mountain Top) - Scot McKay (A divorcee that went through a rough patch thinking he would never see another woman naked again, bucked up, learned the ropes, and through a multitude of dating and sexual experiences found the love of his life)

These two podcasts are both scientific and pragmatic. Not at all PUA nonsense and extremely truthful. None of this "we have a system and it will get you all girls" business. They are honest about the rejection and practical in solution. How to approach - SURPRISE! A Simple "Hi, I'm [insert name]." usually does the trick", first dates, second dates, how do women see you when you approach, etc.

I still listen to one other podcast hosted by these two women called "The Ask Women Podcast". I strongly advise you do not listen to dating podcasts that are exclusively hosted by women. The amount of contradictions I have heard on this podcast is numerous to the point of uncountable. From week to week their opinions change and the co-host is a depressed mess that shuts down almost any idea. She really knows how to ramp up your approach anxiety. Women often cannot even verbalize what they want and the responses you will receive from them are highly variable. They know what they want when they see it and what they want is usually what podcasts 1 and 2 discuss.

The Art of Mackin by Tariq Nasheed
- Read this in high school. More of a collection of game tips that a pimp would give you than a "guide". Some of its dated, but it's an entertaining read none the less.

48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene - Helped me understand social power dynamics. Not necessarily dating-specific, but gave me general social skills to ethically manipulate social situations to my advantage, or at least for the best situational outcome.

Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport
- Helped me a have a healthier relationship to technology, which in turn allowed me to improve my communication skills, expand in-person social networks, and be overall less stressed and more satisfied with the present moment. I found this helpful with game because it helped me unplug and think clearly, and gave me less anxiety about social media, and helped me deal with the "urge to escape" when my social life wasn't going how it wanted to.

"Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka was the first book on the subject that I've read and the mindsets and advice it provides is really good.

Stuff by 60 Years Of Challenge is rather underground and VERY underrated, helped me a bunch, some of the best stuff out there.

Also, this video on youtube (all of it's parts) was MASSIVELY helpful, I would get nowhere if it wasn't for this.
