Did you set the venue? Never tell her the venue beforehand. The day of the date, you text her “(place) at (whatever time you agreed to), that work for you?” This allows you to confirm the date without coming off as needy. If she doesn’t respond, don’t waste your time showing up. And don’t use the phone for getting to know somebody. Set the date and get off the phone.
