I notice with women that you're into, if they get a sense you're too into them, they might take it for granted, back off a bit.

If you then back off too, I find a lot of the time they come back around to try and get your attention back. You can see their attraction rising by your absence.

It almost works too well. When I was younger and stupid if I sensed a women backing off I'd bombard her with attention, which of course was terrible. But if you step right back and get on with your life, there is a very high chance they'll come looking.
