Creepiness is determined by your state of mind. You can fix that through all the usual "self help" books or live coaching that other guys use. No quick tips are going to help, it's a long process but it's worth it.

I'm of the camp of people who believe that getting what you want out of life requires hustling. If you want to make money, but don't have any but have an idea. You bet your ass I'm gonna go out and bother the money men until someone funds my idea. And this is exactly what I did - I almost got fired for it for how aggressive I was about it. But that's the point - if I didn't push and keep fighting for it - then nobody would believe me. I turned a shitty little idea into a billion dollar one.

I see the same thing in dating. If you want a girl. Any girl or quality ones. You gotta hustle for it. Waiting around for random lady luck to bless you with a woman who happens to like the way you look is a loser's strategy. You're gonna lose out to the guys who are hustling for girls. Who are better equipped at getting girls who aren't looking at them interested in them. Who are just better adapted because they are used to hustling. The only girls you'll get are the ones they miss.

If you want to win, leave your ego at the door. If a required step of improving your odds at life is being kinda creepy, then that's perfectly a-ok as long as you take steps in a positive direction and it stops being creepy.

So fuck this waiting around for opportunities mentality and go out and make your own opportunities.

Eye contact is super important. Make it with a girl then hold it. If she maintains it for a sufficiently long time (i.e. what most guys would consider awkwardly long) then it's highly likely she's into you and would welcome an approach. This is probably one of the prime indicators in a loud club setting but also applies generally.

First thing first: you actually look more like a creep if you remain in your corner without doing nothing to a girl. Talking to a girl, make a joke, dancing are all things pretty normal in that situation.

Then, if a girl is interested in you (mostly based only on your look in inverse ralation to the time you have spent talking with her and showing off your personality) she will do one ore more of this things: making eye contact, answer to your questions, asking some questions about you, joking with you, starting touching you and/or do not dislike your touching, agreeing to dance with you; do not openly rejected you, do not move away from you, do not turn her head or body away from you (all signs that at least she didn't think that you are a creep, but they are not signs of interest).
