You don't need to drink. It's not a high school basement party - people don't keep tabs and generally don't know or care how much you've had to drink. Just order a sprite or water. Bars are ideal for pickup because it's an incredibly dense gathering of girls who are already primed and heightened and looking for a guy to date or hookup with. They're drinking and they're social and receptive to approaches from random guys. You really won't ever come close to the sheer volume of approaches that a bar or club allows with something like a coffee shop or whatever. Going about your day - how often do you ACTUALLY see attractive girls around? And how many of these girls are even single (if you care about that). I would really just force yourself to still go to bars. Again, you don't need to drink - you can also find some type of supplement that will help you loosen up if you're looking to do that.
