I initially wrote a way to long intro giving context into my predicament, but then I realized it was all unnecessary. The abridged version is that I'm not at uni currently, I would like to and am trying to plan to go back, but right now am living at home and working.

I'm only 21 so I feel like I'm at an age where people are still transitioning. Some people my age are living on campus, some at home, some by themselves, some with their partner. I've come to realize that I can't really project the confidence I'd like to have without first being confident in myself, and I do feel like living at home does inhibit my potential confidence.

I know more young people are living at home than ever and it's not super uncommon, but I can't help but still feel like I'm in little kid mode, that I haven't transitioned to the adult mode I need to be at to get girls like I'd like. I have a good relationship with my parents and really don't mind living at home, but I do want to eventually move out, just when I feel as though I'm in a more stable point in my life.

So, generally, my question is how much will living at home affect my potential prospects? As long as I'm a cool person, with girls be cool with it? Or am I going to inevitably be disadvantaged since I won't have my own place to bring girls to?
