I’ve been out of the texting game for a while. What’s your opinion on leaving kisses, emojis, acronyms like “lol” and “lmao”?

Only dirty emojis should be used. Don't leave kisses. Try to avoid lol and lmao unless she's the type that uses them a lot. Using these things makes you look less mature to the girls that are looking for someone more sophisticated. Basically, it depends on your target.

Here beginner of text game, but definitely not using those ways to communicate emotions. Focus more on story telling, teases, and not-neediness. Have you some good book/guide to suggest me about text game ?

Depends on the girl, but if you're a witty guy they help add humor. Being fun is attractive. Conveying your sense of fun with words alone is possible, but difficult.

Look for emojis that convey ideas other than just "laughing" and "eye rolling". For example use one of these when you text something naughty: 🙊🙉🙈.

You can tease with emojis too: 🌪🥿🥿 get it?

I don't use kisses all that much (women do), but emojis and "lol" are fine. I would just keep the texting frequency at a minimum, and don't use a period to end your last sentence (I was told I came off as cold when I used to do this).
