Hey guys. I just came across this sub when googling "long game". I only found out about this term when I mentioned it to one of my friends who told me that he played the long game.

This guy played the long game and it absolutely worked. The thing is, we're now... I don't even know what we are... but I think I might be falling in love with him.

I was going to ask this on Relationship Advice, but why not come to the place where people are actually giving advice on how to do it?

The thing I want to know is... am I silly for thinking this might turn into a relationship? Right now, it does not seem like it's going to turn into a relationship because almost everything we talk about is sexual. Mostly. We talk about normal things. We do some activities together that are not sex-related. He feels like my boyfriend, but we have not even talked about what we are.

But I am not a guy. I cannot understand why he would be my friend for almost a year, waiting around until my BF and I broke up, to sweep in and make his move. Just for sex? Please explain to me the mentality behind this. He's a good looking guy that can get sex any time he wants it. So, why would he want sex with just me and not more?

I know that I should just ask him, but I am honestly afraid of his answer. Because I've grown to love him. Also, while he was playing his game, I guess I kind of knew he was playing it, but I just brushed it off, but subconsciously liked it? Should I play it cool and it might turn into something more serious?

I don't know what I'm doing. What should I do or handle this???
