This upcoming semester in college I’m going to try to be more social. So I’m hopefully going to join a couple of sports and maybe a club. I have a lot of girl acquaintances, not friends, who I tend to talk to in class or around campus. They’re normally friendly with me when I do talk to them but that’s beside the point.

Would it be creepy if I approached a girl I found attractive and just tried to get to know her? Just asking questions like what’s her major, hobbies, or just random things? I feel like just stopping a girl in the hall just to get to know who she was would gain me a rep as a weirdo. I’m honestly done trying to chase women this semester so I’m going to try to develop strong platonic relationships. Any thoughts on this?
