Not sure, tbh

I've found that a huge percentage of lines and theories that i've read about in PUA books really don't 'work' in the real world, tbh.

I almost feel like each one of us needs to be our own 'guru', as what 'works' seems to depend on things like your location, how handsome you are, the girls particular personality etc etc

Id say something complete opposite, something along the lines of "I like that, you'll have to show me your moves sometime, although you'll probably kick my arse so you'll have to go easy on me"

Depends on the woman. I’d personally see that as a fun tease / challenge and would probably rebuttal saying that’s highly unlikely as you don’t look like you’ve won at anything in life, and then I’d want to go on a fun arcade date. However someone that’s more sensitive may not view it the way I do.

Just because some of the classic teasing/neg/push-pull examples use "I don't think we'd get along" doesn't mean you need to use it everywhere. I think your idea is right, but only in the right context, like if she brings up competing. Don't just randomly bust that out when she says she's into sports. And you don't need the get along line. It's so overused.

"I love sports and I'm generally really sporty." She's qualifying here, if you two have implicitly or explicitly expressed that she's chasing your approval to be a sexual interest then this is great.

" I really like that but I don't think we would get along I'd always win and you would be mad about it. " Cool, you give her approval, then you push again to make her chase harder. I don't like the idea of bragging here, and putting yourself in competition with her in sports. That seems insecure because you're the man, of course you're supposed to be better than her at sports. If beating a girl strokes your ego, what does that say about your ability to compete generally with other men? This is why I don't like bragging about beating the girls in my life at anything competitive, it should be obvious that I'm going to be as good at or better at the stuff I'm interested in. Playing with her is an opportunity to bond over shared interests and teach her stuff or learn with her. It emphasizes your position of authority. It's her opportunity to try to impress me with her competence in learning as well. If we do something that she's better at, it's her opportunity to impress me with her skill and to offer value through teaching.
