TL:DR; This post will show you two generic but effective “roleplay style” openers I have used to get hundreds of dates over the years. As far as I know these don't exist elsewhere, but who knows? I have provided conversation examples on how I personally use the openers, and I will also break down some key elements of the openers so you can add your own touch or modify them to work with pretty much any girl you match with.

DISCLAIMER:

These templates will only work if the girl is actually interested. Have you guys seen those girls with with Venmo or instagram in their description? These almost never worked on those girls. Probably because no line would of worked :\

Anyway, let's get to it.

Template #1 – “This or That”

This or that is an opener where you ask the girl to choose between two things and no matter what she says you tease her about her response. It allows you to learn some things about the girl and also shows her your flirt game is higher 0.

Me: “I looked over your profile, it looks like you might have left out a pretty important detail…”

Her: “Is that right? What would that be?”

Me: “In a life or death decision, would you choose M&M or Skittles?”

Her: “Haha. I’m definitely a die-hard M&M fan.”

Me: “I knew you were sweet and not the sour type… <some emoji>”

Her: “If you take care of me I’m the sweetest, but don’t get on my bad side!”

This Or That Setup Notes:

Yup... candy. My friends used to make fun of me because they said this opener was lame and childish and wasn't masculine, and I agree. But it still works really well.

If she bites, this opener can lead to a very easy “let’s go pick out our favorite candy” date which catches girls off guard. Most girls have a lot of good feelings associated with candy too, maybe that's why they agree.. but who knows?

All I know is while most guys are fighting over her night time slot for drinks, you’re tapping into day time slots that are rarely competed for with a unique date idea. Try it.

If candy isn't your style, this template can be set up to work with pretty much anything - let's look at how we can do that.

Step 1: Comb her profile and look for some topic you can build the conversation around, ideally something you think she might be interested in. Don’t look at the pics themselves but instead what they might suggest about her interests and personality, hobbies, etc.

(You can always go generic like I did, with candy, pets, shows or other things girls probably like if you can’t find anything. This will happen a lot and should be your go-to. If you can find something unique to her though, you will get a much stronger response because it gives a “this guy understands me” vibe.

Step 2: Once you have the category, choose two things in that category that are well known but are different enough so she can side with one or the other (m&m and skittles, cats and dogs, action show or funny show, etc)

Contrast is important here so she can easily choose from one of the two options.

Step 3: BEFORE you send the first message, think of a flirty response for every possible response she can give you

  • It should be designed to playfully tease the girl.
  • It shouldn’t be cocky or mean but should be something the girl will read and smile.
  • It should be about the girl, not about you.
  • It should create a situation where she has a chance to qualify herself to you
  • Look up some corny jokes on the internet in your category you chose (pets, travel, entertainment, etc. and try to rope them in if you can)

This is an extra step but jokes are jokes for a reason, because they’re funny. If you can illicit an emotion through the intrawebz you will immediately stand out among the other sausages in her inbox.

You want to have this ready because if she responds right away, and you hit her back with your clever scripted response immediately - you will seem very charming and this will usually lead to a fast number close or even a same day date and unknown to her it was planned the whole time ;)

Here are some examples of my scripted responses for candy opener

She chooses M&M

Me: “I had a feeling you were the sweet type. I hope I’m not wrong about ya”

She chooses Skittles

Me: “Oh geez I hope you aren’t the sour type, that might be a deal breaker :p”

She chooses neither for this or that:

Me: Neither? You know what they say about girls who don’t like candy right?

Her: What?

Me: They don’t the dentists favorite time of day.

Her: What’s the dentists favorite time of day?

Me: Tooth … hurty?

Her: Wow you're lame. Let's get married

Yes – I’ve used these exact corny lines to get hundreds of dates over the years. Remember, if a girl likes you – you don’t need much, you just have to show her that you aren’t a mega creeper and that going on a date with you might be fun for her. It might take you a little bit of thinking to figure it out, but this is why I opt with a generic thing like candy - I can just reuse it forever.

Let’s check out the second template.

Template #2 – “Us Against The World”

Us against the world is an opener where you will roleplay a situation that highlights the fact that the two of you have something in common, and after you pit that similarity against everyone else. This will build a connection and show her you might have things in common.

Me: “I looked over your profile and a thought came to my mind…”

Her: “Oh god, what?”

Me: “If we were walking down the street and we were both wearing leather jackets, do you think everyone else would get jealous of how good we looked?”

Her: Not what I expected you to say… but of course, they wouldn’t be able to keep their eyes off us! But.. would we go black leather or brown leather?

Me: Woah, you’re posing serious questions. Well someone told me once brown leather makes my eyes look good, maybe you can confirm it?

Her: Oh yeah? I’d like to see about that. Brown it is.

Me: I’m free Saturday. Weather’s supposed to be nice too.

Us Against The World Setup Notes:

Step 1: Comb her profile and look for something the two of you have in common**.** In the above example, she would be wearing a leather jacket in one of her photos (I also wear leather jackets in my photos.)

Step 2: Think of a “scene” that isn’t creepy or weird where the two of you are doing something normal. Something that two complete strangers could possibly do together and wouldn’t turn the girl off. Don’t try to go sexy or intimate, just be normal. You don’t want to scare away the girls that don’t find sexy talk attractive.

Step 3: Phrase your scene in a way that puts you and the girl versus everyone else. Ideally a situation where everyone else would be admiring the both of you, or jealous that you looked so good together or something else.

Step 4: Roleplay and have a fun conversation that you can segue into a date and the number. If the girl isn’t down for a role play it probably means she has a dead soul inside and you dodged a bullet, or she just wants orbiters – no loss. Ideally whatever it is that your scene is can actually be a date, because it would be smooth and natural.

Next time you guys feel like you have nothing, try one of these templates or modify them to work for the girl you just matched with.
