Started off with my car getting towed.

Stressed already because I had a test for uni that day, but luckily I live across campus. Go to class, speed through my test, have a friend drive me to the pd for release form ($25), then go to the tow yard to get my car released ($299). I found the whole Situation unfortunate, but kinda funny, and decided to just accept it. Was chatting up everyone, ended up being that a lot of students got their cars towed from the same lot I parked in. As I’m paying a cute girl is behind me waiting for her turn. I decide to chat her up. I find out she borrowed her friends car, but had no one to take her car back home and she forgot to get the release form from the pd. I tell her I can pick her up from her place and take her to the tow yard to pick up her car. She agrees and we do that. After we pick up her car I ask if she wants to grab in n out and we do. While we’re eating I decide to ask if she wants to end the day on a good note and drink some beers back at my place, she agrees. We drink and bang it out aaaaall niiiiighttt loooong. And that began our 3 monthish friends with benefits. We both just kinda new it was casual. I’d hit her up during the day or late at night and she would come through. Fun fun times. She ended up meeting another dude who wanted a relationship and it ended between us. I love relationships like that, but they come and go so enjoy them while they last!

Matched with a girl on tinder and we spoke for a couple of days before I suggested we meet up. She said she'd like to, so we arranged to meet at my place. She came over and we talked a lot before the making out and sex happened. Then it just became a weekly thing that we would get together.

We both knew it was for the sex, but more importantly, we recognised each other as human beings and had a lot of respect for each other. Every time we got together we would talk and have a laugh, not just get straight into the sex. I think that's the key thing here.

It was really great, but after a while I was the one that decided to call it off because I stopped liking the idea of having sex with the same person all the time, yet not being in a romantic relationship together.

There are different spectrums of casual sex imo, and I have at a time been in all 3.

In one scenario, you meet a girl, go out with her one or a couple times, turn out to like her while she doesn’t like you back, and actively pursue her with intermittent casual sex, only for shit to eventually get real and it end badly.

Another scenario where she turns out to like you and you don’t feel the same way. In which case it once again turns into casual sex as she actively pursues you. You actively act ignorant to her plots of becoming more, and once again it eventually gets real and ends badly.

Or the most rare case: neither are actually interested in a relationship and you eventually mutually part ways or become just friends. Although it tends to eventually go one of the first 2 ways unfortunately.

A chick I met from bumble.

Go on a date (boba and walking around). I tell her that I’m going to a party the next night and tell her to come. I don't like it. Maybe because i became too attached with her on a emotional level. And also because people this day ghost anyone they lose interest. As a young age I was thought respect of others, and if I don't think it's gonna work I tell the other person and leave the situation amicably. Instead I feel people are either too afraid of confrontation or failure especially women. Maybe am reading too much into it but there's definitely a power struggle from insecurity when someone ghosts you. Sorry about my rant but I think casual sex is okey as long as both parties know that's all it is.

I was married for several years and committed to my family. I had many friends that were women, one close friend at work, a girl that I was in a band with, even my wife's sister to name a few. Casual sex is modern phenomenon very few people have actually experienced

I am sorry to break it up to you, but here, in Europe, casual sex is quite common. I literally don't know anyone who at some point in his life wouldn't have sex casually.

The way to casual sex is as described - casual. Don't take ii too seriously, don't imply relationship, just invite her in to have a good time.
