For those who don't know, Take Me Out is a British TV show where men show up, displaying a video of themselves explaining their hobbies, their crib, their work, their personality, etc.

The video is then judged by 20 or so beautiful women, and if they are not interested, they press a button and thus become "undateable" or "not interested". Any woman who hasn't pressed the button by the end of the video receives the chance to be considered by the man to be taken out on a date.

The men have to validate themselves with said video.

The women? They just stand there and look pretty. Is she a bitch? Is she crazy? Boring? Nobody cares, she's pretty.

Quite surprised a mainstream show like this is discussed more. The show displays the importance of a guy's looks as well as his capability to provide. Most women (90%) reject the guy, and the "lucky guy" gets the chance to pick between 3-4 women.

Discuss horrid TV.
