How do you guys manage to talk to more than two girls at a time on dating apps?

All my conversations follow a tested model so I just go through the motions. I don't have to think much since all conversations follow the same pattern and I always know generally speaking what to send. I might need 5 seconds to think about each reply to see how I might customize my standard responses to the other person and what they said. But, it doesn't require much effort. It's become a habbit more than anything

Most girls I would ask for number within 5 messages, I would go up to a max of 10. This prevents any problem of struggling to talk to many, you filter out false positives and can take the ones serious that you have the number of and requires relatively little thought.

I comment on something or just send some standard opener if nothing to comment on, then look at their reply and try to frame your response in a way that moves towards suggesting you meet, when they respond positively to that you tell them to send their number. Then you'll have a few numbers that you can talk to with more than the basics. Even then on WhatsApp I keep conversations centred around the meet, rarely will I ask much actual questions until we're in person, before then it is just flirty and playful.

I'd say with this sort of method I get the number around 75% of the time once they are responding and once I have the number it turns into a date 75% of the time. Some become a bit flaky once you have their number and want to know more but I always tell them that they won't know me til they meet. I could probably convert those into dates as well but when they already start off needing so much security before they meet the chance of moving things quickly with them is very low so again I just view it as filtering out false positives since I've no intention of investing so much into them.

Covid obviously throws a wrench in this, but the answer is--I don't chat with them all that much, I just try to get a number and a date, not maintain a bunch of internet chat buddies going.

TBH, if you don't get them off the app there shouldn't be a high level of investment either way.
