We all start inexperienced. Not knowing one of the dating customs made me needy. I used to talk to a girl and when a girl liked me, i used to get too romantic.

I made the mistake of investing too much in the girl that i barley know. Like, i would go on ONE DATE and I would think of my future with the girl. I would think...oh man, this girl is going to be my gf, have all these things that couples do in my head and just paint the girl as super awesome in my mind. I would often do this before even going on the first date.

That made me needy. This was due to the fact that i had no standards other than looks and the fact that i was too romantic. You see, most girls are talking to about 3 or more guys at a time. Most of the time, they are just trying to figure out who they like most.

NOTE: Some guys get mad when they find out that girls are talking to 3 or more guys but you have to understand that we would do the same and we should. They are just trying to find the best person to include in their life. You know? Don't be bitter about it. Get better. There is no reason why you can't have more dates.

Anyways, my point is...one thing you can do to reduce neediness is to reduce the romantic thoughts you have about the girls you have only been on 1 date or less! You like her...fine. But, don't be overly romantic about her. She's just a cool girl you met. There are plenty of cool girls. there is no reason to be too romantic.
