Imagine that you flirted with a girl and everything was going fine. Assuming you had your chances, you took your shot by inviting her for a drink. But the outcome was not the one you expected. You know the drill : she finds some excuses without proposing another date, she doesn't open your message or invites friends in common etc...

I believe many of us her already experienced these kind of stories. The usual saying will be to "go next", there are plenty of other girls out there who might be interested, which you did like you should.

But now, imagine that the girl flirts back a few days / weeks later, the same way as you interacted before : strong eye contact, prolonged discussions, laughters and physical contacts. You feel again in your guts that you have another shot. Now my question is : should you try again ?

In my opinion, I will be very reluctant. You already get rejected once, a second one might be really awkward and will undermine your self-esteem. Indeed, maybe she is playing games, trying to assess her seduction power on you, maybe she is just seeing you as a friend but reflects it in a very intimate way.

But on the other hand, if the girl is really worth it, you may have some regrets later on for not trying. Maybe she saw that you were not affected by her reject and thus got interested by that.

I think I am overthinking too much. What is your point of view on this subject ?
