Cancelled date twice, should I try again?

It seems you’ve provided enough time & opportunity for her to simply stick to a date yet she has fell back. I wouldn’t take the initiative to set up another date as most likely the same thing will repeat but let her know something along the lines of that it’s on her now to make it happen as you are cool with the date going ahead or not happening at all.

Chances are she’s stringing you along for attention until the guy(s) she likes ask her out or until something better rolls around for her. Don’t waste your time and energy, it’s not gonna happen between you two. So go with option 1.. if she makes some effort then you can proceed to go out.

Option 2 reeks of impatience and desperation.. never works bc it’s basically an ultimatum.

If a woman is interested in you, she’ll make time for you. If she’s not, she’ll make excuses to you.

Personally, I don’t like shitting where I eat so I’d suggest moving on from hitting on a girl at work if shes that flaky.

Personally speaking if a chick is into you, she's into you. Infatuation, or attraction is really something which can't be forced. I know that there are these dating manuals and tactics all across the web--it appears that courtship is made out to be a lot like a chessmatch, these days. For example, there's that common tactic of not replying to someone for an allotted amount of time, to pique their interest...

although it works initially, in the first stages... I really think, honesty, above all else is what everyone should aim for. Honesty with tact, of course. And if a dame can't handle honesty, then what kind of a dame is she? A man who demonstrates honesty, is a man of respect. Honesty is damned integrity! Pure and simple.

If I were in your position I would straight up ask her: "Either we're going to do this or not, and if we aren't just be honest. Won't you? I'm interested in you, it's obvious."

If she isn't, ah well. I know that those words won't hold a lot of weight, after-all by your words. You are rather sweet on her as I can tell... however, I second what many of the other people have said in this comment section. I don't think she's all too interested.

If I were interested in a someone, hell yeah I'd move mountains and my entire work schedule to be with them. Screw being sick. Get your ass over here, now!

It isn't being forceful, it's just being honest. Relationships take two individuals to expend effort. It's a union above all else.

I mean if you do #2, it can just end up where something comes up and you are back to square 1 where she makes some empty promise about doing it another time. The first two times could be legit, but I think the issue is that if a girl was truly interested she would make the initiative herself to set a date and time. It seems that she has a small amount of interest, but at this point it's almost coming off as she's stringing you along as a backup option in case she doesn't have anything better to do.

Ultimately I would move on and go with option 1, but she isn't a completely dead lead. You might as well treat her like a backup. Finding other women will allow you to be at a point where her always pushing back wont bother you, but in the case she finally goes on a date, then cool but it's a win win either way because you will be focused on higher quality leads

Those aren't the only 2 options.

#3 Get back on her radar. DHV -> Talk, flirt, text, once in a while. See what response you get. Eventually, tell her you're doing something cool (Whatever that is), and she can join you if she wants.. do this a few times... ask her for opinion.. like you're meeting a few friends and need her opinion on what to wear, one of your friends is bringing a girl that likes you but you're not sure if you feel the same way.... etc...

In this situation I once texted, "You know I'm flirting with you, so either go out with me or tell me to fuck off."
She'd cancelled a couple times prior to this and then agreed to go to lunch --- in the end we ended as friends instead of lovers, but pushing her to make a decision took away the waiting game. Thing is, if you do this, you cannot keep asking --- if she doesn't answer with a yes to a date, take it as "fuck off" and move on.
