The infection rates of cold sores are pretty astronomical. I have contracted either type 1(predominantly oral cold sores) or type 2 (predominantly genital) on my dick, so not the best of places to have it. I never got it tested for geno type, knowing I had one of them is enough for me.

I have no clue who I got it from. At one point I only took anti virals if I felt an outbreak, but they are becoming unpredictable so now I take suppressive Valtrex every other day or so.

I was just curious as to how many other people have had experiences with the virus, and what their feelings are about it.
