I recently moved to a new city because I was sick of not having options and living in the sticks. Since moving here I've gone out on walks downtown to explore the city, people watch, and become comfortable daily.

Today I was ordering lunch from a food truck and a really cute girl who was on her lunch break ordered behind me. I told her I really liked her outfit and she seemed REALLY happy. We had a bit of small talk about the city and I informed her I was new to the area. She was receptive to the conversation and even mentioned that it must be such a crazy time to move. We wished each other a great day and that was that!

Overall a great experience that taught me not to be afraid to speak to people. I probably should've closed and asked for her number to grab coffee or get to know her since the vibes were very good, but I just need more practice.

Get ready for a novel cause results today blew my socks off.

Starting my approach sess

I go to the seaside area where I usually go. It started slow. My first possible set was two model looking blondes taking pictures of each other on the side walk near the ocean. I walked straight past them ;_;. Partially my discomfort with size 2+ sets and they were attracting a lot of attention bc of how hot they were and their posing. Cars were literally beeping at them as they drove by.

I go ok fuck the seaside let's go towards city center. I see a few more kinda eh approaches in the first two blocks and let them go for various reasons (one was running to get somewhere, another was calling someone, etc etc).

First Approach

Finally, I'm walking into the city w high rises around me and an asian cutie in a dark green shirt tucked into her jeans walks around the corner. I blurt out hi! She stops and we look at each other awkwardly for a second or two. Then I tell her I just stopped her cause she was cute and that I don't really have a filter - I just say what I see. I introduce myself. Ask her about her day - she's here to get a present for her mom with her family. They're down the street and she was behind them for some reason? Fam seemed pretty chill, they see me from down the street and then just kept slowly walking away lol. That was one of my teasing themes that her parents/sister were just gonna leave her. Anyways, I find out she's a student, she likes animals. I then ask her whether she likes ice cream. I follow up w what her favorite ice cream flavor is and joke that ice cream flavor lets me know what her personality is like. She says she tried cinnabon recently and I go hmm that's very interesting... I'll tell you what that means about your personality when we meet up again for that ice cream. That was a fun tease. Also when I asked her whether she likes ice cream, my intonation kinda said that it was a date. So she says sure! we can do that. I've recently started doing variants of woah don't rush me to disqualify girls. So here I went haha I haven't even said anything about going for ice cream, just asking you what your fave flavor is ;). But at the end ofc I do ask her out for ice cream. So for the number ask there's some context. I had done a previous good approach abt a week back where I believe I inputted the wrong number (or she had given me a fake one, but I doubt bc it was a good approach). So this time to deal w that I go hey I'll put in my # into your phone and then you can call me. So I put my contact in, and we forget to call. She leaves without doing it. I realize a minute later and go shit. I half heartedly run after her but she's over a block away so I let it go. Thankfully, within another minute she texts me "hey it's ___! sorry we totally forgot about the call so here I am :)"

The energy here was somewhat platonic. This one's a 50/50 whether she'd be down for a date. Mentioned once that this "never happens". The one issue is she lives a decent distance away and likely doesn't have a car. I could reasonably drive over maybe? We have a nice chill text convo going learning abt each other rn.

Second Approach

I'm still on my way to the city center when I see a tall platinum blonde girl go into a chipotle. So I'm like aight let's swing over to that chipotle too. I walk up to the food bar but I see she's waiting for pickup. So when the chipotle guy goes what ya want I say hm actually I'm not sure I'm going to hang out for a bit. She looks over when I say that and we make brief eye contact - looking back prob an IOI. I go to the back of the store (it's small) and hang out near the door. Just because of how the store was set up, I would have trapped her if I walked up to talk to her near the pickup area, so I was thinking of catching her as she walked out. But again my lack of responsiveness gets me and she passes me to walk straight out the door. I go ah shit there she goes crossing the street. But I gather my confidence, run across the street behind her and wave at her and go hi excuse me! You're cute! I say this much more strongly than my more hesitant first approach. She gives me a super enthusiastic "really?" and leans towards me when I say that. That was unexpected but a good sign. I banter with her a bit. We have a hardcore sexual energy going on and she mentions she doesn't know anyone bc she moved so she was glad I came up. I said I also recently moved so we can be new together. She mentioned that "she was really excited for this burrito". Ik it needs context but I playfully misinterpreted it as she wanting my D. I think I did it badly though and she didn't quite get it, which might have been a good thing in hindsight. Anyways, I emotionally spike w a "you know you have a really nice happy demeanor, but I low key think you're a bad girl." She reacts well to that and I ask for her number after saying we should meet up sometime. Her hand comes out lightning quick to take my phone before I even have it out, so I say woah woah don't rush me we're not there yet ;). Training my last minute disqualification. I actually go back to the chipotle and buy a burrito as a sort of thank you for making this approach possible (even though they have no idea at all lol).

My first text to her was "Hi ___! You seem like a bad influence but I'll make an exception for you ;). Enjoy your burrito". She responded with is that supposed to be a compliment bc it didn't feel like one. So maybe I'm teasing her too hard here and need to lighten up a bit. The general feeling is she's thirsting a bit but I might be making it too unattainable. I'm too used to doing this disqualification shit bc I'm trying to optimize for women who aren't thirsting from the start, but I need to adapt in these cases.

Edit 2: Oh wait, now she's asking about my age. This is the problem w being a fairly young dude approaching in the city. Well she's still down so it is what it is.

Third Approach

Best one imo. I finally get to city center and see a girl I want to approach from way down the street. I jog a long ways and catch up with her waiting at a crosswalk. I do the sideways glance I am slowly perfecting to see if she's cute, and hell yeah she is. She looks hawaiian, but it's hard for me to tell w the mask. I open with "Hi! I'm your doordash delivery. Did you order a chipotle?" That's actually an amazing opener that I've used quite a few times whenever I'm holding any sort of food. Hasn't failed me to get a laugh yet (N=3 tho). She says haha, I haven't - I already got my food here. I say I'm just joking with you, I just thought you were really cute. I'm Max btw. Aside - now this is an opportune time for me to talk about my cross walk tactics. I ask her which direction she's going, then tell her that I need to go (direction 90 degrees from where she's going), but I'll walk with her for like a block. This gives you a false time constraint. Tbh my real direction I need to go is usually back the way I came. But no one needs to know that. Anyways, she agrees to me walking w her. We make some small talk and I ask her a bunch of questions about what she's studying and what she wants to do with it. She's m.eng and wants to make prostheses and I'm like wow that's super cool. So we go about two blocks, and then she says "hey actually we can go in your direction for a bit I don't want you to be too far away from your destination". So we turn 90 degrees to the direction I don't really need to go in lol, but it's a lot of commitment from her end which is telling me she's super interested. We walk and talk for a bit longer, then I stop her and make my standard ice cream date ask. This time I took her number and messaged her on the spot "hi it's max" bc it felt right. Probably will do that in the future. We also set the date on the spot for tomorrow. When I ask her for a hug she teleports into my arms. I don't think I've ever had a set like this (tbf it's not purely my game per se she just happened to be fairly high interest). I also really like her personality so I'm hyped for tomorrow.

Summary

Anyways, I went 3 for 3 on the approaches I did. Not even cold leads (flake/ghost) though which I've been getting used to - all three of these are hot potato leads. I usually only see these kind of results in a whole week of approaching, so if I can make this standard, I'll have improved my output by 7x and put myself into some sort of god tier realm. I don't think that's feasible ofc - this mainly seems like an indication that I am improving but not by 7x. My OLD is also starting to bear fruit - I've been working on the text game a ton and have 2 dates set to show for it. From cold approach, I have the date w/ the 3rd approach from today and a date w/ a girl I approached earlier this week, bringing me to a total of 4 dates set for next week. If the other two leads from today pull through that comes to a total of 6, which is insane. Life is suddenly good after very sparse to no dates in the past few months.

Not every set will be high interest like the ones here. If they are it’s relatively simple to just hold a convo and set up a date.

The worst are times where the girl just goes uhh.. I have to leave. Like the day before yesterday I approached a girl who was resting after a run. She just said I think I’m gonna go and start jogging away, which made me feel like a serial killer or something. As I approach more I’ve seen harsh blowouts happen less and less. Now it’s around one in 30 approaches about, and I hope to decrease it.

You’ll have to get better at reading her quickly. Is this girl really not interested? Is she just shy and not sure what to say so you have to do the talking for her until she opens up? Is she uncomfortable bc she doesn’t know who the fk u are and you need to tell her more about yourself? It’s a journey.

With the caveats out of the way, overall as long as you’re respectful women love it. I can’t even count the number of “this was nice - glad you came to talk to me” that girls have said to me, boyfriend or not.
