A recent post on this sub, talks about attraction being emotional. A comment sparked my interest, it says;
Is it me or is everything in life just an algorithm?
The responses made me wonder... Are most of the people who ask for dating advice:
- programmers
- financial institution employees?
I don't think accountants ask for dating advice. They probably accept their fate. I could be wrong though. Scientists can't get laid but they can get that one girl to marry them based on their credentials.
It does appear that the more logical your work is, the harder it gets. (that's what she said!) Or, it could be that logical thinkers retreat into a world they can control. So we miss out on instincts, etc.
What do you think?
