Unlock your phone open up the Phone app and Say “I gotta go meet up with my friends, we are talking later so put your number in my phone and I’ll text you so you have my number.” This works because 1) You are telling her what to do you aren’t asking her as if she has a choice. 2) You get instant confirmation if she’s giving you a fake number.

I find keeping it simple works best.

“Take down my number. Let’s meet up some time.”

Definitely better than asking for her number as has already been mentioned here. It helps to set the dynamic that you’re offering her something, not asking her for something.

You could try asking for their social media account or play a game about asking for their number or you can try "well this is a but weird but can I get your number?"
