The question is in the title.

I've been asking myself the question in the title for a long time now. I've done some research and from the looks of it (this link is just one in many I have accessed), it seems that cold approach isn't as effective for marriage as it is for short-term relationships.

I am in a situation where I have a couple of girls attracted to me via social circle and shared activities, but I don't particularly like them. I think I can do better, to be honest. Even if the chances of cold approach turning into marriage are slim, I can compensate for it by doing a lot of cold approaches. All it takes is 1 serendipitous approach to find my wife. I also have to account for the fact that I want to date around at this point in my life.

I also feel like my time is running out. Soon I will be 24 and I don't have a lot of time if I want to get married by 30. That's an age I decided to get married by, so that I have enough time seeing my kids grow. By this point in time, I've done around 500 approaches and only had a few numbers. In a weird way, that makes me want to learn cold approach even more, since I suck at it.

What's your experience? Is cold approach worth learning if your end goal is marriage?
